Recipe for Nan : For 10 ServingsOpen or Close

Ferment "Blue Bird" Dry Yeast
Take ½ cup Luke warm water, 25g. Blue Bird Dry Yeast. Stir with a spoon until dissolves. Cover the container and let it ferment for 15 minutes.

Dough Preparation

  • Take 500g.of Blue Bird Maida Flour, add ½ tsp salt, 1 tbsp yoghurt & fermented Yeast.
  • Knead well, add butter and knead again.
  • Leave under a wet cloth to rise for 2 hours.

Nan Preparation

  • Punch down and divide into 10 belts.
  • Roll a little. Let it rest for 10-15 minutes.
  • Place on a buttered baking tray and cook in a pre-heated oven at 190º c for 10-15 minutes.
